Explanation of the activity
Coves de l'Eden Roc
Departure from boat. Discover the impressive Coves de l'Eden Roc, located just in front of Port Salvi, in the dive area of Punta de Garbí between Les Planetes and Cala del Vigatà. This site offers three beautiful and easily accessible underwater tunnels, ideal for exploring in comfort and safety.
During the dive, you will marvel at the Posidonia meadows, the presence of scorporas, octopuses, groupers and white gorgonians that adorn the marine landscape. The seabed is characterized by impressive rock formations and wide channels, creating a perfect environment for underwater exploration.
The main tunnel, located about 26 meters deep, has a length of approximately 25 meters and has a narrowness that adds excitement to the journey. The second tunnel, which is about 18 meters long, is surprising with the possibility of seeing the figure of a dolphin as it leaves. The third tunnel, although the shortest, offers a 3-meter slope that can be easily overcome by climbing with caution.
Don't miss the wind rose above the first tunnel, which serves as a prominent reference point while exploring the Coves de l'Eden Roc.
What will you be able to see?
In addition to entering the tunnels, which gives the immersion a magical aura, you can see species characteristic of the Mediterranean such as castanets, bream, octopus, scorporas, moray eels, and other species characteristic of the area.
At the end of the dive, we will pass through the most superficial part of “The Net”, a beautiful wall full of holes, cavities and cracks that serve as habitat for many different species such as locusts, crustaceans and nudibranchs.
