Explanation of the activity
The Perduts dive, located about 70 meters southeast of Illa de La Palma and less than 5 minutes by boat from Mar Menuda, is an exceptional experience in the open sea. With depths that vary between 15 and 30 meters, this pre-coral area offers views of milanas, barracuda banks, sunfish (depending on the time of year), as well as groupers, scorporas, congrios, moray eels, lobsters and lobsters in rocky areas.
The name “Perduts”, which means “Lost” in Catalan, comes from the difficulty that many divers encounter when trying to locate the dive from the beach. It is famous for allowing you to start from the boat at the diving center and ending at the beach, offering a diverse and entertaining route from 31 meters to 20 meters deep.
The seabed, full of rock formations and holes, is home to a wide variety of marine life, making it ideal in winter for observing San Pedro fish and rapes.
Dive guided by local instructors who know the areas where most of the marine life is concentrated.
