Explicación del curso
The Marine Conservation course will provide you with a deeper understanding of underwater ecosystems and the measures needed to protect them. You'll learn about major marine conservation issues, such as climate change, pollution and overfishing, and you'll explore practical solutions to address these problems locally and globally. In addition, you will do practical dives where you will apply techniques for monitoring marine life, reef cleaning and environmental education to contribute to the conservation of the oceans.
Contenido del programa
- Six academic sessions: The theoretical training of the course takes place online, allowing you to advance at your own pace and from home. In addition, in case of doubts, we are available to provide you with assistance and help both in person classes and through video calls. Your learning is our priority and we're here to support you every step of your journey.
- Six sessions in confined waters.
- Four training dives in open water.
The SSI Open Water Diver program allows you to dive autonomously with a partner, up to a maximum depth of 18 meters, in environments equivalent to your training anywhere in the world.
